(no subject)
Well, here I am, in Wales, finally connected to the internet (none in my room!) and on my way out of the library to buy groceries. Just thought I'd post to say hi to everyone.
I'm still pretty jet-lagged, and two of my flatmates came home drunk last night and were pretty loud, so this will be a short post. I'm still not quite used to everything here - it's all subtly different. The biggest difference so far is the internet; I suggested one of my flatmates look up a recipe for banana bread online (or banana cake, as they say), and she seemed confused. I'm sure once things settle down it'll be easier, though. And now I must go in search of groceries, and mybe a nice cup of coffee....mmmmm....coffee.....
