(no subject)
hello all!
I am finally back from Wales! I couldn't believe it when we touched down in Newark, and the pilot said that it was 93 degrees here, but leaving the airport was like waling into a thick, wet matress. Ah well. It still feels good to be home.
Not that I'll really be home for long. Next Thursday I go to Baltimore, to start CTY. So, if anyone is going to be around the Baltimore/DC area and wants to hang out, I have weekends off and would love to see people. :D
Then, when that lets out in early August I'm going to Bolivia! YAYYYYY!
So, that's the plan folks, and all things considered it looks like it will be a busy summer. My CTY class could be pretty easy, though, so that's alright.
I keep getting all these warnings about reverse culture shock, but nothing like it has hit me yet. And honestly, I'm not too worried.
So, yay for being back in a country where things aren't ridiculously expensive, and no one makes fun of my pronunciation, and bah on leaving people I like. And where on earth did I put all my shorts before I left?
