I think it's funny that there is always a point in my relationships with people where someone says "You're not as innocent as I thought you were!" Hehe... Why I come across as so innocent is beyond me, but it's always nice when people realize that although I'm a good girl, I'm no saint. Actually... I'm a Saint, a Siena Heights University Saint... hehe... but that's about it. This week while knitting at the shop on Wednesday Sharon decided that I'm not innocent. I laughed and told her about how one of my nicknames is "The Virgin Whore." :o)
The Graduation Reception tonight was nice. Open bar and munchies... plus all of the graduates got SHU keychains, window clings, and marble paperweights (pix below behind the cut). :op Sister Peg was there too so I got to meet her which is cool. She's the President of the University since last July and is freaking adorable. I heart her already. Plus, how many times in your life do you get to meet a real nun? hehe... I'm actually excited about graduation now. Still a bit freaked out too, but excited. We booked a hotel room tonight so that we can go down there on Saturday instead of driving down (and risking getting lost) on Sunday morning. :O) Plus there's a pool for the kids and we'll be able to explore the campus and find the bookstore so that I can buy some SHU swag that I can't get up here (if they're kind enough to have it open on Saturday... the website says they're normally closed on Saturday and Sunday... argh). I totally just forgot what else I was going to post about. LOL Uh... we found a drive through Starbucks in Jackson tonight... wee! :o)
This weekend is all about finishing my last paper for Psychology (due Sunday), finishing my final for Conflict Resolution (due Tuesday), and my last Sociology homework sheet (due Graduation Day). Then sometime before next Saturday I have to take my last Psychology exam, and then the week after graduation I have to take my Sociology final. Whew. ;op I also need to go shopping to find something to wear to graduation... hmm... :o) (Tax refund showed up today thank goodness!) Sunday I'm supposed to walk in the Susan G. Komen walk and then have a Mary Kay/Pottery/Jewelry Party at Norma's. :o) Oh and I promised myself I'd at least clean my kitchen this weekend so I can actually cook food in my own house next week since I have money to buy food again. LOL
For now... I'm going to finish up here and then head home and get into some warm jams and pass out in bed with my monsters. :O)
