My Passport came today. :op It's pretty. It bites that we're not going to Aruba but I'm okay with it. And plus, now that I have my passport I won't have to deal with getting it when I do finally go. :o) Did I mention that while we're going to be in FL it's Bike Week? The "World's Largest Motorcycle Event" rolls into Daytona Beach for 10 days featuring motorcycle shows, exhibits, concerts, racing at Daytona International Speedway and street festivals. Bike Week has been designated a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event. Bike Week activities take place at various locations throughout the Daytona Beach area.
I'm gunna pick up a hot biker and have my way with him. *snorts*
Intern Count: 18.5 hours down, 31.5 to go. Today was a total bore but at least I got another 4.5 hours done. I spent most of the time searching through old VHS tapes of past training sessions to see if there was a presentation by this one chick. There wasn't. I made sure to put notes on the tapes about what was on them so that some other poor intern never has to do that again. *rolls eyes* When I got there today though there were two firetrucks outside and all of the staff was sitting in the lobby with their coats on waiting to be told if they had to evacuate or not. Apparently something in the heating system broke and was burning so it let off this horrid smell and no one knew what it was so the Fire Dept had to come and check it out. :op That was exciting. lol
I should run. I need to go do laundry at my mom's house since my dryer still isn't working, and I have studying, knitting, and tv watching to do. :op
