Fixed (or rather, I did what lonelywalker tried...played around with things, then rebooted. :)

Help!

Okay, so I bought a new laptop. toshiba, running Windows 10 (doesn't come with a CD disc)

Connectivity is fine (netflix is actually working and it didn't on my old laptop)

Desktop default image is clear

Desktop icons are clear.

But ALL icons/photos/graphics on the net (IE and Firefox, both) are entirely pixelated and useless.

1366 X 768 is apparently the optimal resolution, and that's what I have it set at, but I tried all the other options and none of them work either.

(even lines around forms - like the subject heading box for a journal post - has dashes instead of a straight line

Would any of you be willing to walk me through some options to try and get this laptop to work? Just assume I'm a total Luddite and don't know words like "driver" or "resolution" or "computer" :)
