So what have you been up to?
Attended some weddings (one friend, one nephew), visited some great friends - and museums, saw lots of movies, and I'm currently getting organized for the new term, which starts alarmingly soon *g*
Major life changes? Same old same old?
We have a new dog (Penelope) - who's actually a little older than the old dog (Lola). She's a rescue, as all our pets have been.
What fandom are you in/do you spend most of your time in?
Marvel almost all the way (especially Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..) - comics, MCU, tv. I don't play video/computer games, but if I did, they'd probably be Marvel too.
Where do you hang out online?
Twitter mostly, two accounts.. Tumblr (but mostly not under my regular fannish name). I keep trying to re-visit LJ/DW, but it's not working very well.
I'm making a bit of an effort to connect with old friends on facebook, even though FB is the Devil!
I have failed to understand SnapChat. #OldGeezerBlues
What are you reading?
Not much in the way of books right now, apart from things related to my teaching. Lots of comics, though (other than Marvel, I'm reading a lot of Image comics: Saga, Lazarus, The Fade Out, Velvet, Sex Criminals, Bitch Planet...all with strong, interesting female characters)
What are you watching?
*The Gilmore Girls (season 5...and all the characters are annoying, but apparently I like annoying, because I'm still watching)
*Bob's Burgers (season 3)
*Zoo - the human characters are so-so, but the animal plotlines are creepy and scary.
*Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (on FX)...Denis Leary. All the observations about the music world are spot on.
*Just finished watching Wayward Pines
*Almost finished with season one of Outlander
*Started and abandoned a ton of well-done shows that just aren't to my taste. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who couldn't get into Breaking Bad and the only fantasy fan who's not into Game of Thrones (despite my long-standing love for Peter Dinklage)
L*oking forward to the return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Doctor Who, Elementary, and The Walking Dead, Transparent.
*Sort of looking forward to the return of The X-Files?
*Will be giving a try to Fear the Walking Dead, Red Oaks, The Man in the High Castle (loved the pilot!)

Not much. I haven't written anything in ages. I am, however, doing my usual "propping up the fannish infrastructure" (mostly anonymously...for reasons).
What are you squeeing about today?
Tomorrow is the return of the @DubSmashWar - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. versus Agent Carter - this time for charity!
If you could rope old fandom friends into a new fandom, it would be...
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: I'm not shippy in that fandom, but I always like more folks with whom to discuss it!
I should really watch/read/dive into _______ and then come talk to you about it!
