this was a lot longer than i intended...
a lot of weird things have happened lately but i'm gonna shorten my stories. i found an old (really old) friend on myspace. knew him when i was like 6 or sumthin, anyway it was a LONG time ago and its cool to say hi told friends again. its like makin new friends. i LOVE that.
i had class this morning but didnt have to stay. we're workin on speeches (in groups) and my group really didnt have to much to say right now. gonna wait till monday to put everything together. so i left school. my schedule is rediculous and i dont have class till 12 (and that class was suposed to end at 10:30 but today...i left by 8:15). NICE.
crazy story (if you dont wanna hear about my stomach issues then skip to the next paragraph). i could go to the bathroom yesterday and my tummy wasnt feelin so great. so i decided to try some prunes and dr. pepper. thats suposed to work rather quickly. well then i told my sis why i was eatin the prunes and dr. pepper. she says, "you can try my medicine.(with a questionable face)" i say..."i think i will" so i did. thats some hardcore stuff on your stomach. COLON cleansing medicine is what it was. (my sis has a hardcore stomach...EVERYTHING sets off my stomach, or atleast until yesterday) so about an hour later...i was in the bathroom. haha but not for long. i was kinda sad. i'm still waitin for everything to kick in. :| we'll see what happens. i'll keep ya updated. :}
last night i went to the youth worship service (seven 25). i'm really glad i went. i needed it. it was about worship. do we really mean it when we worship? do we come to worship with the right intent? well it was cool cuz Krystal wasnt sure she was gonna stay. actually she wasnt going to at all but couldnt find a way to leave. a good thing she didnt too. during the service a younger girl next to her left to answer her cell and came back shortly after and seemed really quiet. after the service she pulled Krystal aside and told her that a guy she had invited to church (who had just made the decision to follow God a few weeks before) had gotten in an accident on his way to church and was killed instantly. his father as well. she was in complete shock and just needed someone to talk to. she felt like it was her fault but Krystal reasured her that it most definitly was NOT her fault and that in fact God had used her in an awesome way to help save her friends life before he had the accident. WHAT AN ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THIS GIRL! MAN, the amazing things that happen with God. He is AWESOME. a sad story for sure but what a lesson to learn. "for we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose." GOOD STUFF! another sad note, another kid on his wayu to church was in an accident and totalled his car. ...he's a troubled kid and needs all the help he can get. though its sad to say, maybe this event will help set him straight. he could have lost his life easily but God saved him. hopefully he'll see this, and hopefully i'll be a good example to him while helping with the youth. he's a nice guy, just a lil confused. keep him in your prayers, his name?..Carter.
and last, i am leaving for carrizo tomorow at about lunch (around 1ish). pray for traveling mercies (and maybe not so much for me but the poor people on the road at the same time as me). jk. i'm excited about seein everyone. i'm ready for the God experience on the way home! no musice...no friend...just me and God. that's what i really need right now. i havent spent much time with him and i need to.
so i'm goin to pack now, maybe play my guitar, definitly read some scripture. until next time, thats how the lesson's learned.
