hook, hook, where's the hook...
It's snowy and beautiful outside. I only wish i had a window next to where i sit at work.
To make the winter wonderland even more fantastical, as i stood in the packed subway on my way to work, i heard (faintly but clearly) the Star Wars music from maybe 5 feet away. It was awesome, and the train ride was much more adventurous than usual.
I had a piece of home-made quiche for breakfast, got a mocha from the super-nice gentlemen at J + B Coffee & Tea, and now I can look forward to a free lunch at a Furman Center presentation today (and law school catering is good).
When i go home, i hope to make a big, fat snowball (wearing my previously useless waterproof ski gloves).
Then, i'll have to do something delicious for dinner. Maybe order Italian from Fragole or something. Plus, my Patagonia fleece should arrive today, and the timing couldn't be better.
This day could never have happened in January.
