I HAVE A SPARKLY DALEK AND SPARKLY TARDIS ON MY ARM. \o/
Also, I have seen the Doctor Who Easter Special a day before the rest of any of you -- besides fayera, who went with me, anyway -- and in high-res on the big screen of a cinema, at that. I APPROVED. Some of the acting was a touch dodgy in places (Michelle Ryan, I'm looking at you), but it was refreshingly free from Rusty's usual women issues - the cast had a nice variety of interesting and mostly very capable female characters, I thought.
Outside the cinema this morning there was music from the show paying very loud, and inside were facepainters working free in aid of Children In Need (there were donation buckets), and besides the usual stuff they were offering Daleks, cyberman faces and TARDISes stencilled on in body glitter. So naturally Lucy and I went for it, 'cause we're mature that way. :D We also got free posters, which are quite cute, and before the show started there was Derek From The Weather standing in the front to chat and be chased by a Cyberman - as far as I can judge, one actually from the show - who clanked around the cinema and was entirely entertaining. Then there was a little clip of David Tennant on screen, and then they played the episode, which was definitely good fun and which I'll be watching again tomorrow night. Far too much of this episode was very, very obviously Cardiff when it was meant to be London. But then, I saw a crapload of it being filmed so I shouldn't be too surprised that I recognised, like, everywhere that wasn't Dubai or something. XD After the show, the Cyberman was outside with a big Dalek, and great lulz and photos were had. All in all, the entire morning was lots of fun. :D
Aren't they cute? I don't actually have arms of two different colours, that's just the different light as I tried to take a decent photo of both. ;) I'm very fond of my teeny glittery tattoos. Can't decide which is my favourite, though.
Am vaguely tempted to app Lady Christina somewhere now. Sadly not Milliways, though, as am out of character allowance. D: But still, she was cool.
