I'm a big fan of Girl Genius. Their Hugo-award-winning colorist has developed most of an iPad/iPhone game. It's almost done, but needs funding to finish polishing it. They've gone to a pledge system for getting the funding and they're about $700 short of their $8,840 goal, which needs to be reached by March 6th at 5pm ( Read more... )

I just finished fighting the boss in Plants vs. Zombies today, which played the game's credits. There were only about 3 names listed, and one of those was "Programmer - Tod Semple."
