Primary Ballot
Why does my primary ballot consist almost entirely of nut cases? Oh yeah, because CA voters said "yes" to the jungle primary system. It was one of the few electoral changes I was passionately against. Oh well. The one libertarian candidate for senator is no more loony than the rest of the republicans, so I might as well vote for her.
Am I making a statement? This vote doesn't seem to matter. Who am I kidding? CA will re-elect Senator Feinstein in November, unless for some reason she fails to make the run-off, which could happen with a voting system like this.
Feinstein has matured over the years, I'll give her that.
