D has a QTB today -- don't ask. Then, if things go according to plan, there will be a band sent over to the English embassy in DC to play their national anthem for them - and D will be conducting.
We had plans to go to a Orioles/Red Sox game this evening, but if the band is sent over those plans will be canceled. I hope the plans are carried out, because I think that would be a wonderful gesture and the least the band could do to help them today. They were the most wonderful and supportive country after 9/11. I just hope we can do the same for them.
