food?
i had some grand ideas of things to put in an entry, but those ideas fizzled and i'm not so good at moping, that ol' standby, anymore.
as i have a week of dead space between now-finished in-class finals and a final on the last day of finals, i am trying to spend more time making delicious food. today i made sugar cookies which were unexciting but not disastrous, disaster being a common theme among my cookie-baking attempts. tomorrow i may try making a gingerbread house. at some point in the week i am thinking of baking a cake, either made of pears or black foresty. i will probably post about this.
really though i had thought it would be a great idea to host a dinner party some night, until i realized that my house doesn't have either a table, chairs, or utensils in sufficient quantities, and cups and plates are dubious. hmph.
i would make a poor main character on a sitcom, i think.
