Nothing I actually want to see has premiered this year, although I'm going to give Once Upon a Time a chance when it starts in a couple weeks.) It's kind of like if X-Files and Alias had an illegitimate test tube baby, but IMO it's better than either of them. The mytharc is fascinating and actually makes sense, Olivia is completely badass, and the more standalone episodes are often brilliant. These are the kinds of stories I want my sci-fi to tell. The first season is slow to get started, but the payoff is TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Good for you going for the rehabber license. My grandmother use to rehab birds long before people started licensing for it and my Mum rehabbed a hawk and several crows years ago.
