going home later today for thanksgiving!
finally, a break! When I wasn't in work or school, I actually had a pretty ok week, hanging with friends.
last friday, for homecoming week my school did "spirit splash," where it's basically a free-for-all into the school fountain (ie "reflection pond" haha). I got there too late to get in, but I watched on.
pretty much me every day of my life before work. But this moment was when I got called in on a sunday night. really? close when I have to be there at 8 the next morning? bah.
last knights football game! pregame :)
went with chavi, my housemate. we got some free tailgating food and were super fans for the day.
sunday I met with alex to do hmwk in the library. I was actually productive! glad we're becoming good friends. Monday night we hung out too, out to dinner with a big group of friends, then mulling around target for a good hour. They're a fun gang.
Last night was my last workshop, on a story I'm not too fond of, and it really came out. some people had great things to say, but ooh the teacher did not. ehhh :( it's okay, lots to improve on. After class, me and this girl ashley went to get some dinner and go over our critiques (she was up that night too). it ended up being free drinks for ladies at the ale house so we had like 4 or 5. :) I'm glad I've been doing things, cause work has been sososo dreadful, even more than usual. There's a job opening in the writing center for spring and I want it so bad. $12/hour. yes please. Working on my app for that later today. I need out of subway, so bad.
Anyway, happy turkey day, all :)
