Partial CNY clothes review
Been on a buying spree recently due to the approaching CNY! This is so unhealthy for the pocket that I hope all the angpows collection will make up for it :)
Here I will review three pieces which I've recently received:
Agneselle Cassandra Floral Dress in Peach, size s
I love the sweet colours of the florals for this dress and the cutting of this dress. However, a bit long for my liking (as I'm rather short, haha). Has a back zip for easy wearing. However, I had a very hard time zipping and unzipping the zip as the zip seems stuck. I'm not sure if it's a defect or it is true for all shipment of this dress? Perhaps girls who own this dress can advise me on this. Without the zip, it's really a pain to wear it.
LB anya cheongsam top in white, size s, and sonata skirt in green, size s
When LB paired the LB anya cheongsam top with the sonata skirt, I knew I had to get this combination! Anya cheongsam top is such an elegant piece to own with its intricate lace details and unique cutting. The subtle lace details also make sure that the attire for CNY is not over-exaggerated (I always find wear classic cheongsam a bit too "over" even though it's pretty). I can also envision myself pairing this with pants and jeans. Has a back zip for easy wearing. Not sheer as I was wearing a patterned bra underneath, and it doesn't show. Also rather easy to wear as there is no boning. However, must make a mental note to myself not to let the top catch on sharp things as it seems like it is the kind which will easily get hooked on objects.
My only gripe for the top is that it doesn't look as flattering on me than on the LB model! :( Probably I'm less well-endowed and have flabbier arms.
As for the sonata skirt, I don't know if the sizing runs small this time round or I have put on weight; I had to suck in my stomach and zip the skirt up! Any comments for the sizing for those who had bought the skirt? Size M would probably be more comfortable for me. The prints of the skirt is extremely pretty though. I love how the golden green florals stands out against the dark purplish colour of the skirt. Comes with a back zip.
I'll have more loots arriving, and I guess I will have a real headache choosing what to wear. lol. Hope the reviews above helps. And by the way, Monday will be officially over in 40 mins time! yeah! :D Bye bye monday blues!
