Love Bonito, Catwalkclose, Oh Vola and more!

What's up, buttercups!

So I've been splurging a lot recently. And I received so many packages that my mailbox couldn't even contain them! And when I went to collect them from the Hall Office (all bulky mail gets sent there if you deliver your items to hall), the hall aunty gave me this omgwtfbbq face.

(L) Love Bonito Christal Top (M)
(R) Topshop Inspired Floral Playsuit from @Sgblogshopp (M)The first item I purchased was the Love Bonito Christal Top. I must admit that I had no intention of purchasing it during the launch and I only got it because I happened to chance upon this really rare piece on Agnes Maurice. So I basically got it for the cheap thrill =x BUT NONETHELESS! I ended up loving it a whole lot. One thing I noticed about Love Bonito's cut-in tops is that despite being figure-hugging, they do not squeeze the life out of your flabby tums. This means that I can bend and sit as I desire without worrying about looking like a walking piece of 三层肉!

The second item I got was this Topshop Inspired red floral romper from @sgblogshopp. It's exactly the same as Smooch the Label's Kate Playsuit but 4$ cheaper! And the best part is, @sgblogshopp is still selling this piece, but on BO! Good things must share - don't say I bojio! This is one item you have got to get. The sleeves are puffy but in a good vintagey granny way, the triangle slit at the chest makes it all the more pweeeedy and it's in a shade of red that's not too vavavoom to be worn to lectures. (Ok so @ruthneedsmoney just told me that you can get this romper from Taobao T.T So head there if you wanna get it, ok! In any case, 32$ is still overpriced.)

(L) Oh Vola Marni Shift Dress in Indigo (M)
(R) CWC Lange Cold Shoulder Top in Creme (S)
The next item I got was the Oh Vola Marni Dress. I wanted to get it during their Valentines' Day Flash Sale but I ended up getting it from Carousell at only $20! Oh Vola really wasn't kidding when they said that it's made of luxurious textured polyester material. The material is so luxe I could fall asleep in it. However, it really is orange although it looks pink above and in the pictures they provided. Nonetheless, if you're interested in getting this piece, you could try your luck with Carousell! Plus you get to bargain hehe.

I also purchased the Catwalkclose Lange Cold Shoulder Top, but from a reseller. From the pictures provided, I expected it to be way too revealing. But the V neckline ended comfortably above my bust. But what I love the most about this top is that it is double layered, so there's not a need to wear a nude coloured bra with it.

(L) Oh vola Bianca Floral Top in Blue (M), with CWC Daphne Flounce Skirt in Coral (L).
(R) CWC Elle Top (S), with CWC Celine Pants in Navy (M)
I was also fortunate enough to have chanced upon Oh Vola's Bianca Floral Top. I didn't think much of it until I saw @mentalforpolish's review! I must say that the floral print on this top is really sweet and it would complement trumpet skirts really well! The skirt that I paired it with is the Daphne Flounce Skirt from Catwalkclose.  Bottoms that are at least 14.5 inches at the waist normally work for me but this skirt is so much bigger than the measurements provided and it's an utter waste because the shade and the cut is really pretty ):

The whole ensemble on the right was purchased from CWC as well! I bought both the top and the bottom because I liked how vintagey and sleek it looks (as in the picture below). I love how the back folds over for the Ella Top! But the pants is clearly too long for me...and my friend calls it my wayang pants. Nevermind, I still adore it to bits and I'm sure it will look better after I send it for alteration (:

As always,
Nic.
