Please pardon my long story, and dear mods, please kindly allow this post.
Has anyone experienced similar encounter? Or do share your courier delivery experience with Love Bonito! By far, this is my worst encounter with their courier service (ALT).
(SUMMARIZED VERSION)
Monday (23/12/13) - Received delivered email from Love Bonito.
Thursday (26/12/13) - Delivery advised.
Thursday (26/12/13) - No parcel delivered.
Friday (27/12/13) (9+ PM) - Parcel confirmed to be delivered, on the way.
Friday (27/12/13) (10+ PM) - No parcel delivered again, reason stated as 'some issues', apologized & promised delivery on Saturday with refund of courier fees.
28/12/13 - Parcel delivered with no refund. Called to check but ALT man on the line insist parcel was delivered on friday night hence no refund. Got him to check with deliveryman then he realised his blunder. Said refund will be processed the next days.
31/12/13 - No refund received till date and no reply from Love Bonito yet.
(ORIGINAL STORY)
I received Love Bonito delivery email on Monday (23/12/13). It was holiday eve and public holiday the next 2 days and I did not expect any delivery. To make arrangements for my family to be home to receive the parcel, I called ALT and understood from them that delivery will be scheduled on Thursday as much as possible. Thursday passed and I did not receive my parcel. I called them on friday morning then and understood that my parcel will be delivered in the night. However, I see no sight of the deliveryman even at 9 + PM. Hence, I made a call and understood from them that deliveryman went to the wrong road and was on his way. An hour then passed, I still see no sight of the delivery man, it was already 10+ PM. Hence I made a call again, only to hear from the same man on the line that there were some problems and they are unable to make the delivery, they will deliver it on Saturday along with a refund of the courier fees. (Courier delivery was stated to take 1 to 2 days on Love Bonito)
Nonetheless I was not home on Saturday when the parcel was delivered. My dad who was home received the parcel on my behalf. Subsequently, I checked with my dad only to know that courier fee was not refunded. I called ALT only to be appalled by their response that no courier fee will be refunded as it was delivered on Friday. Immediately I responded that it had just been delivered on Saturday. The man on the line then called his deliveryman to check and realised his own blunder. He promised to do a bank transfer of courier fee since Saturday, but I have yet to receive despite sending a reminder sms this morning. I am definitely really disappointed and annoyed by this incident.
