Yo Yo Ma.
On Friday from 10:00am - 4:30pm, I will be in Millenium Park building bridges. It's some stint MSI is pulling to get some advertisment for our "Leonaro Da Vinci" Exhibit. I'm not going to complain, I get to go downtown, get a free lunch and build a few bridges.
I think sometimes I take my job for granted. I decided that today. I was having a talk with my boss about all the problems we have in our department, one of the main ones, that we can't keep people on staff. He told me that they must have done something right with me, since I've been there so long. I told him what I thought the problem is. People come into that job and expect too much. You are told when you start, you have to work the weekend, it says you have to stand for long periods of them and they tell you that up front. So I don't know what these people expect when the walk in. This new guy was compaining to me about it and when I said he responded "Well, how would you know? You're James's favorite and get what you want".
That pissed me off.
That caused me to unleah a rant so powerful, I even scared the security guard. Yeah, I admit, I do get what I want there. I get days off when I need them, I get to leave early, I get put on special projects, I get Sundays off and I admit, my bosses show some favortism. But it wasn't always like that. I've put in my time, I had to do everything everyone else did, but I've done a lot of stuff for them. I've worked six days to help out, I've done lunch reliefs, I've worked holidays, I rarely call off, I do whatever is in my power to help. That's why they treat me like that.
I scatch their backs, they scratch mine. That's how it goes. Little does that kid know, I'm always making a LOT more money then him.....
In other news...
Friday was a lot fun. There is something so right about sitting around shooting the shit with a fourty ounce of Magnum. Then I schooled them in Boone's Farm races.

Ever since our "fight" Kevin and I have been stonger then ever. In exactly a month from today I will be in LA, I can't wait. My mom even bought me new outfits to wear. Kevin just finished working with Diana Ross, and yes, she is a crazy black lady.
Tonight, I have to go on a hunt for my high school diploma. It's part of the paper work for IIB, that and I need to finish up my paperwork. I'm reallllllly excited about it.
I always think of something good to say in here, then by the time I actually sit down and write it, I loose it.
