i never want to let you down....
so yesterday....
had a day pretty much to myself, as jack was busy with uni type stuff and tidying his room, so i took myself off for a look around...
went to the metro centre, and i was not that impressed. there was nothing that i could not have easily found anywhere else, and the one or two shops that were indigenous to the shopping centre were closed or really pooh in terms of content.
i entirely forgot to go to the retail park and the shops there though, but not to worry....
after this i mooched around in the centre for an hour or so, met jack for lunch there before he went off to uni, and then i headed on the metro out to the sea. this time i went to whitley bay, and waded in the rather cold north sea, which was muchly good.
we neglected to make sangria again last night... and tonight is tenuous given we may not get back for a while....
today i went into town whilst jack finished up giving his room a reshuffle. i'm starting to get the geography of newcastle down a little now, just have to remember that everything is in the opposite direction i think it is.... found a cool music shop, bought me a Bb whistle to go with the D and also an ocarina, cause it was cheap and looks fun to learn. a generous gift from my great grandmother means that i will more than likely be buying a dulcimer. watch this space i guess.....
after which got a call from jack to say that yves was coming to the sea for our picnic.... so i met them in tynemouth and yves and i went in the sea.... well, i went in victorian style, and then promptly got soaked by someone...... so it didnt matter... a water fight later saw yves in there in jeans... so we've decided we're going to get changed, which we've done and head to the shop and go have a barbeque and play on the beach which we're off to do now so :P to you!!!!
