I just thought hey what a place to actually post my original poetry. You can critique if you want but remember BE NICE!!!!!
What if...?
What if you were mine?
What if I was yours?
What if I could have you?
What if you wanted that too?
What if WE were happy?
What if nothing else mattered?
What if it was only me and you?
What if you cared for me?
What if I did love you?
What if...? All would be perfect!!

I saw you sitting there
Alone in the dark
You smiled yet looked away unhappy.
Everyone knew how I felt
How I wanted to talk to you so
I couldn't make my move
Wondering what you were thinking
How would you react?
I tried to gather the courage but...
Finally you came over
After all the smiles and stares
I knew now that I could do it
You were there and I was there
We were there together
