So yeah, back from my camping trip to Moncton with Tiffany!
(pictures here) Despite the fact that I developed a nasty cold right before we left! Anyways, we headed out on tuesday morning around 9:30. We took tiff's little two door car, and thank god there was only two of us because the friggin' amount of stuff we took, no body else could have fit. We had the back seat totally packed, and the trunk! Anyways, the drive over was pretty good, only when we got to MOncton, we missed the road that goes to magic Mountain and I think we were headedmore twards Main, but yeah, we stopped at a Big Stop and got some directions. I think we got there around 11 ish.
So first we went up Magnetic Hill. Mom says the whole thing is just a optical allusion, and it's nhot actually megnetic, but I don't understand. See, you wait for your turn at the top of the hill, then when it's your turn, you drive down the hill on your right hand side, then at the bottom, pull over to the left had side, put your car in nuetral, and your car is then pulled back up with hill by some "magical" force! It was pretty creepy feeling, but fun. Although, it was kinda hard to think of pictures to take to show what was going on, other than just taking a picture of the road, but anyways. So we did that, then it was off to Magic Mountain. It was pretty fun, althuogh we kinda got boared of everything after about two hours, so we left to set up the camp site. We had bracelets, so we could just go back whenever we wanted. The campsite was pretty nice, it was called Stone Hurst I think. It was pretty much just like any other camp site. But yeah, we got the tent set up and everything, then we went to Ponderosa for some yummy steak. It was good!! Then we went back to Magic Mountain aorund 5, hung out in tyhe lazy river most of the time on our two person raft, whatched the hot life guards ;)
We left Magic Mountain around 7:30 and we went and hit up Old Navy. Man, I love that store!!! I bought a pair of cream colourd corderoy jeans, that are actually waaaayy to big, but they're also wwaaaayyy too long! And that never happens to me, so I just have to make sure I wear a belt with them! I also bought a pink polo shirt and a pink and burgandy zip up sweater from there. After Old Navy, we made a stop at Sobey's to get some food, mainly smoores supplies, pop, chips, and some kleenex! Then it was back to the campsite for some supper-I love smoores! Oh, and there was a really cute tree at our camp site that had John + Joann carved into it. I thought it was cute so I took a picture.
Anyways, the next morning we got up and had left overs for breakfast-more smoores, and pop and chips! Breakfast for the champions! Then we packed up and made our way to the Moncton Zoo. It was pretty good, saws ome lions, and tigers, and monkeys. Oh, and pretty sure they had this pen with chickens and roosters in it, but the chickens and roosters kept jumping out of the pen and running around the zoo. They were like, hiding in bushes, and you'd walk by and all of a sudden, and chicken would jump out at you! It was crazy shit man! Oh, and there was lots of ducks!!!! They were soooooo cute :) So after the zoo, and severe heat exhuastion, cuz it was like. 35 degrees over there, we hit up Arbys for some orast beef snadwhiches! Man, I love Arbys!
After Arbys we went to the Champlain mall and did osme shopping! I love shopping. Oh, but there were some creepy Moncton guys sitting in the food court, and when me and tiff walked by they shouted out, "wanna frisk me?", cuz I had my Quebec Police shirt on....it was creepy. But, got some more clothes, some shoes, and some socks, and then we headed home! I had a blast, and I was glad I went cuz I keep saying I wanna go camping in the summer, but then everyones always busy and stuff, so we never get to do it! But yeah, i hope ya'll enjoyed my very long, play-by-play account of my camping trip to Moncton!
