I can't believe the holidays are around the corner already. That and the fact that my birthday is in 16 days really makes me think about how fast this year has gone by. I've had a lot of life experiences this year that will certainly be memorable...
In the beginning of 2007 I started Spring Term @ Miami-Dade College with the expectations that I'll obtain my AA in a year's time. After completing the semester, I apparently was supposed to take a summer course...which I failed to do so. The college then decided to place me on "Academic Suspension" and did not allow me to take classes in the Fall. Granted, I've drop my share of courses...but that was a bit harsh. Needless to say, it pushed my graduation a bit further than originally planned. The good news is I've registered for the Spring Term starting in January. I'm taking my first Accounting class and I'm now required to take a Life Skills course (since I'm still technically suspended).
In August I decided to quit Carnival Cruise Lines. There were many reasons for this, some of which are included in a previous post, but mostly because I needed a change. If I didn't leave CCL in August, I would have never left. My life, school, family...everything revolved around Carnival and it was really getting irritating. So I started my new position at Print Media and I'm enjoying this job immensely. This company is very flexible, family oriented and just different!
