In order to have a "Stress Hardy Attitude," you have to display attitudes of control, commitment, and challenge. What is a "Stress Hardy Attitude" you ask? Well, individuals who posses them appear to be capable of dealing effectively with stressors.
Control: You believe that they are in control of their lives, rather than stressors having control over them.
Commitment: It's not only following through with a goal, but believing what you do is of value and importance.
Challenge: You focus not so much on the danger aspect of a crisis, but on the opportunities available as a result.
