Moving ahead.
I recently finished a 2 month long project for masonry and concrete inspection for a Walmart going up on the Eastern Shore. I came back to the office and ECS in Richmond needed to downsize because there isn't much going on in the way of construction around. Ray Boyd, my boss who I look up too, hooked me up with another company, Dominion Engineering Associates. Apparently they got a bid on a job opening up in Peterburgs and they needed someone who lives near by and is ACI certified in concrete to do the inspection work for the next 15 months! Yeah! And on top of that, I get a pay raise, and solid 40hr+/week work! But as of now, I'm on vacation for this week and the next. Everything is working out pretty good!
