I want your opinion (Yes, I do believe it or not... Hell has frozen over.)
I saw an Ad in the paper and once I stopped drooling I thought it would be a lot of fun for us and we can surprise Tino and Siguard with it on Valentine's Day.
I am going to buy this, but I am offering for you to go in on it with me if you'd like. (Because I do understand the whole pride thing believe it or not.)
Regardless I'm going to get this for us for the weekends.
Take a Look at
THE VIKING 82 CONVERTIBLE Cruiser.
There are a lot more pictures on the website link... take a look at them.
(I much prefer the Enclosed FlyBridge option, not the open one pictured above...that way it's easier to Pilot in the rain and if it's really hot, it's air conditioned.)
Apparently Viking Yachts have a dealer here on the island and they are having a MASSIVE Sale for the whole month of January (It's Their off season). We can grab this beauty of a fishing yacht for a SONG. (It's Normally Listed at an MSRP of $5,935,000, but they are selling NEW $2,994,000)
I know pick your jaw up off the floor. It's a STEAL and it's making the Viking in me want to grab a pole and pillage me some Tuna or a nice fat marlin. Fishing off Hetalia is amazing, I'm not sure if you've been or not.
This baby also comes equipped with Jet Skis and Scuba/Snorkling gear, deep sea fishing gear and a HOT Tub and Sun Deck.
3 Master State Rooms with King beds, 2 double bunk Guest Rooms, 5 Heads (One per cabin) and plenty of "Party" Space. (It can sleep 10 passengers in total)
I thought it would be nice to take Siguard and Tino out for Valentine's Day weekend for a fishing trip for it's Maiden Voyage. I was thinking of hiring a chef to come in to prepare dinner for us in dock at the Marina, then after dinner setting out and weighing anchor for the night. Then cruising and deep sea fishing on Saturday and coming back Sunday afternoon.
I am going to buy this regardless for all of us, but I thought I would offer to go in on this with you in a joint venture to show our "wives" a good time as a surprise. Not to mention Tino has a long time Childhood friend, Eduard, here too and Tino can bring him along comfortably. We could even have room for Feliks and Toris and Matthew and Lars if Tino wanted to bring *ALL* his friends. (My little social butterfly.)
I know Siguard is so very downhearted and I think this might cheer him up a great deal. I know we'll use this baby a lot.
What do you say? Shall We Vikings Take to the Sea in a modern day Viking Longboat?
Let me know what you think.
Skål,
Berwald
