Berwald, even for having lived exclusively on the island for the past five years, had never accumulated a lot of "stuff". He never bought much for himself that wasn't of a "practical" nature. Mads thunked his head on the table and then presented a challenging glare. "Tee Em Aye." He pinched the bridge of his nose.

Tino laughed. "We're Finnish! We're a heeeeeaaaarty people! You may succeed eventually, but we're going to fight to the last." He smiled, then planted a smooch on Berwald's cheek.

"That's not nice... You have weaknesses too, and I know about them. I'm just not going to tell you what I know. I wouldn't want you to fortify your ranks." He teased. "I'm keeping your weaknesses to myself."

"I have a huge weakness. He's about five foot five, really blonde, with these gorgeous lavender eyes, and this really sweet face. You might know him, he's in your class." Berwald replied ruffling Tino's hair and Sipping from his coffee.

"A shrunken Ivan?" He teased, looking at the Swede through his eyelashes before planting a kiss on Berwald's cheek and going to pour himself an orange juice.

Berwald shivered. "Oh you fight dirty askling." Berwald grumbled, Tino knew that "LOOK" lit the furnace.

He just fake pouted as he finished his breakfast.

Tino fake punched the air. "Ding ding, one for the Finn and the crowd goes wild!" Looks expectantly at Mads, who sighs.

"Whooo?"

"You bet your ass Whoooooo!"

Berwald just shook his head and stood. He glared at his crutches as he tried to put weight on his leg. It was painful but tolerable. He limped without his crutches into the kitchen to put his dishes in the sink.

Carrying anything with crutches was impossible and "wife" or not, he wasn't about to let Tino wait on him hand and foot.

"Did you take your pain meds?" Tino asked, as though just remembering them? He stood up to meet his rakas in the kitchen.

"Sorry for the light ribbing. Don't worry. I won't go back on my promise. Church is yours when the time comes." He smiled.

"Oh Askling I know that. And even if you did change your mind, I wouldn't be upset. I don't want anything that isn't given freely." Berwald said as he rinsed his plate in the sink. "And Yes, I took my pain meds. The sooner I can tolerate walking on my leg the better. The Doctor said as much. The brace is only on to support the artery while it heals and I don't rupture it these first few weeks. I can take teasing. Don't worry Buttercup." Berwald reassured as he washed his dish and set it in the rack to dry.

"Okay, I'd just hate to sound like a little bully. I really hurt your feelings once, it'd kill me to do it again." He smiled, leaning against the counter top, then scootching over a little at a time until their sides were flush and pressed together.

"I can tell when you're playing. I'm learning." Berwald said leaning over to plant a kiss on the top of Tino's head.

"If after all we've been through you haven't left me yet? I think my chances are pretty good you're sticking around for the good and the bad times. Thank you Askling. I love you."

"Ja." Berwald breathed drinking in Tino's kiss. He tasted like pancakes and ligonberries and the sweet that was already Tino.

"You're both slobs." Mads rolled his eye, entering the kitchen to deposit his own plate and cup.

Berwald just grinned and lifted Tino to deposit him on the kitchen counter. Effectively bringing them closer to being eye level.

Ignoring Mathias' gagging noises he just kissed Tino again. Loving it when Tino's feet hooked around the backs of his legs and pulled him closer.

Yes he knew his Ti well.
