The best eyeliner for me is the one that looks like a pentel pen with a pointed end. I remember my first one was from The Face Shop and then one again from Topshop. I find them easy to use and also works wonders with a cateye. I got a new one from Essence last November. I bought it for my office year-end party when I did an Adele look - read about it
here . And I have to say, I'm impressed. It's not the best one out there but for the price, I think it does a pretty good job. This is the Essence Eyeliner Pen in Black.
The felt tip pen is firm and I think that helps in controlling where you apply the product. It's also not too thick so you don't get a thick line right away. You can apply it thin and then build it up to the thickness that you want. The color is also black, not the blackest black but black enough. What I don't like about it is that the tip dries easily and you have to squeeze the pen to get the product out again. It also fades after about six hours and I don't know if it's because of my oily lids. Maybe it will help to apply black eyeshadow over to set it. I haven't tried that though. What I do is I just reapply this when I'm going out after work. If I'm going home right away, I don't bother. Haha! It's also easy to remove with the balm cleanser that I'm using right now.
All in all, I'm happy with this eyeliner but that's because I'm not picky. If you're an eyeliner girl, this might not be for you. But for those who want a lowkey eyeliner that does the job (basic lining), you might want to give this a try!
