Mask on, mask off

Here's another standout product from the November Ipsy bag. I wasn't able to include this in my previous post because I only got to try it last Saturday! I'm super super sad that it will be really hard to get a hold of this product locally because I really like it! I think I'm bound to like any mud/pore minimising/oil control mask. This is the Glamglow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment that I got from Ipsy. I only got a sample-sized one and I think it's good for two applications. I tried it last Saturday while I was relaxing in the tub.

I thought it was going to be in a mud-like consistency (since it's called youthmud). But it's not a pure paste, it had leafy bits in it, like seaweed.

I applied it directly to my washed face and skin started to tingle. They're serious with the Tinglexfoliate part of the name. If you're not used to it, you'll definitely panic because your face will feel like it's on fire. I'm used to it though because the effect is similar to the Garnier self-heating mask. So I left a thin layer all over my face and let it dry.
Once it dries, the tingling sensation slowly disappears. That's when you know it's time to rinse it off. You rinse it off in a circular motion to exfoliate the skin.

After washing it off, my skin around my cheeks area was red. Not tomato red but similar to when I just had a facial. I followed it my usual nightly routine and then the following morning, my skin was suuuuuper nice! I didn't even wear foundation when I went out last Sunday. It defitely helped clear my skin and I feel like I'm still enjoying the effects five days after I used it. I'm going to use it again this weekend. I loooove it. If I find a local seller, I'm definitely going to repurchase it.
