Love, love, love: Real Techniques Blush Brush

Nov 06, 2013 10:00

This year, I've started to grow my brush collection. Brushes are essential for flawless makeup application, especially for eye makeup. For now, I'm really happy with the eyebrushes that I have (maybe I need to make a separate post for that, let me know!). And I also recently found what could be the one blush brush for me.  That's the Real Techniques Blush Brush. I got this a while back and after opening the box, I've never used another blush brush since (except for cream blushes, where I use a stippling brush). It's the perfect size for my chubby cheeks!

Real Technique brushes are developed by Samantha Chapman, a blogger and a makeup artist. The box says the blush brush is "hand-cut to contour and define cheeks for flawlessly blended, high definition results". The taklon bristles are soft but is still able to pick up enough product to give color to my cheeks. The handle is also really nice and sturdy. I've washed these twice and so far, no shedding! I heard that these last a good number of years so even though they're a bit expensive and hard to come by (had to order this online), I still think it's a good investment. I have my eye on other RT brushes (expert face, buffing brush, contour, the list goes on!) because they're all supposed to be really, really good. And based on the blush brush I've tried, they're worth picking up. Have you tried any of the Real Technique brushes? Do send me your recommendations!
