This nail polish is one of the things I got from my
October Ipsy bag and this nail polish alone costs $8 so I'm really happy with it. I have never tried Zoya nail polishes but I see theme everywhere and I've always been curious. I guess I was more inclined to buy OPI or Essie since those are in the same price range. I'm glad I got this in my bag so I can finally try this brand. The color I got is called Mason and it's a tricky color because it changes depending on the lighting. In daylight, it looks like a metallic purple color with red microglitters but sometimes it looks more fuchsia than purple. It's not a color I would normally go for and I'm not too sure I'm sold on the color. I love purple but I tend to like dark purple colors rather than metallic ones.
Despite not liking the color, I really like the consistency of the actual nail polish. It was easy to apply (with a good sized brush), no streaking and dries fast too. I applied two coats to get the color in the photo above. You'll need a top coat to make it glossy or mattify it if you want (maybe I'll do that next time). Now that I got to try this, it's definitely in my radar. I'll probably keep an eye out for a color I might like from the brand.
