I mostly learn about new product releases from the hundreds of blogs that I read. And I'm always looking for more blogs to add to my Bloglovin list. If you have other reading recommendations. please let me know! They're a good source of information and you get to know how each product performs depending on the blogger's skintype and location. One of the products that I ended up buying after reading about it from blogs is the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush. Before using this, I'm not into cream-type blushes. If you read my other posts about
blush, you'll see that I used to prefer the powder type. But these two babies converted me to cream and they're what I've been using this past month.
The Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush comes in this tiny pot with a transparent cap. A lot of bloggers don't like the packaging but it doesn't bother me that much. I have two of these in Soft Pink and Soft Cardinal. It's a cream but the consistency doesn't dry all the way to powder form so it gives a slighty dewy finish which I like. Even though I have oily skin, this works for me maybe because only my T-zone becomes super oily. I use my fingers to apply this and blend it out but you can also use a buffing brush. This has amazing wear time. I never have to retouch when I wear this. I apply this in the morning and then I forget about it. It gives color to my cheeks the whole day.
Soft Pink is a light pink that has a lot of blue in it. It's the more popular color between the two and I can see why. It just gives a pretty light pink color to the cheeks. It's not too bold and it can go really light or you can build it up to a more vivid pink. Most bloggers say this color can be applied to both cheeks and lips but with this color, I prefer it on the cheeks.
Soft Cardinal, on the other hand, is a rosy-pink color. It's deeper than Soft Pink and gives a pretty flushed look to the cheeks. I've used this both on my cheeks and lips and I think it works for both areas. But if you're not comfy wearing one product in both cheeks and lips, this works very well as a cream blush.
Overall, this is a pretty good cream blush that's in the mid-range area price-wise. The Maybelline Dream Bouncy is cheaper and the Revlon Photoready cream blush is more expensive. Because of this, I'm curious to try other cream blushers as I've discovered that creams works just as good as powders.
