(no subject)
Well im sitting in my dorm room putting off studying because i think i deserve a minor break inbetween the
chaos that was this week and the disaster that will be next week....not to mention that i've been here for 6 weeks
and havent updated ONCE! i keep putting it off because there's crap loads of news that i dont want to even attempt to
remember....
- i was so worried before coming here that it would take forever for me to find friends and fit in, but just the opposite
happened. literally within hours of being here i already had a good group of friends that i still hang out with. i miss everyone
from home SO much, but im happy that i dont have to be unhappy while im away. there's a certain sense of freedom here,
not in regards to having no parents cuz thats a given; no, i feel that i can really tell others what i feel and think because
they know what i know and where im coming from. i dont have to hold back on thoughts that i've had, unless i want to,
because we share the same theology. i hope no one feels offended by me saying this, it's just something i felt i always
had to hide to an extent back home because i didn't want to push my beliefs on anyone. there's downsides to this too,
but thats for someother entry....
-in other news: last week i went to a Muse concert! it was AMAZING!!! it was such an awesome concert, and the
best part: i didnt have to pay because it was a date! hahaha, ya im not shallow....so me and this guy who took me
are kinda 'dating' now, i guess it's kinda the equivalent of 'talking'. hahaha how gay does that sound?
-i hate/love my sleeping habits here. i love how i stay up till 3-4 every night out with friends, talking, or doing homework,
but i hate that i love it in the morning when i have to wake up for class. hahaha, i usually have to take a two hour nap
every day so that i can stay up and do it again that night; im so messed up. :>
-school's going pretty good. i got A's on both of my first papers. to bad they dont count for much though. this week i had to write
3 papers (3-4 pages long) in three days...DEATH! and i have a mid-term tomorrow and monday as well as more papers.
it seems like i get nothing done because there's sooo much to do!
- i work at the cafeteria for my dorm complex. all i have to do is refill the salad bar when it runs out. hahahaha, not that glamorous,
but it pays the bills. ;> its actually pretty nice because i get to see all my friends when they come into eat, and i get asked out by
random guys because im the 'food giver'. hahaha j/j
soo yes, this my life in the shortest explainations possible..... hope everyone's doing good, leave me a comment because i miss
you all and barely get to talk to anyone! :>
