(no subject)
So I have written seven letters today and yesterday. Five today. Yes, one of them is to you, gold_sneakers. I am awesome. Unfortunately, I have been less productive with the actual schoolwork this weekend. But I spent about three hours in the library doing reading for Volcanology yesterday. Friday counts as the weekend, right? Plus I worked for an extra half hour (after three hours stuck out in the freezing cold! And I couldn't wear my gloves!) on my lab for Field Methods after the class was over, so I deserve some points.
I got myself a daily planner, darling - I blame you. You got me hooked. I just love getting to check off the little boxes for having completed something, don't you? Yes, I am ridiculous.
In random wonderings, why do you think movie candy is always in such crinkly bags? It seems like a ready-made way to annoy the other movie patrons. N and I are going to see The Green Hornet this evening, hopefully it shall be good. I like superhero movies, anyway. I never did see the new (ish, it came out a few years ago) Superman movie, that is a shame. Did you see Megamind? I thought it was cute, and it was a very definite parody of the Superman legend. Mythos? I'm not sure what to call it.
I'd also like to see True Grit - it's got very good reviews, and I really like the original, although it's been so long I don't really remember what it was about. And for some reason that reminds me of Maverick - probably just the Western element. Have you ever seen either? We shall have to fix that, if not. And I'd still like to finish watching Ratatooie. I probably spelled that wrong, but I'm too lazy to go look it up. Ta!
