So. Obviously have not posted in a while. Kase-ness, are you still reading? There is no particular point to me doing this for myself, you know. Except occasionally to vent, I suppose.

School is going--- huh. Well. Last week was a mess of trying to get my schedule straightened out and going to/doing homework for about eight classes since I wasn't ( Read more... )

Thank you for the offer! But I sure hope my iTunes is working before this summer.

I can handle normal physics, but this is Plan II physics. He doesn't seem to care about numbers, just tosses them off as "oh, that's close enough" - have you ever heard of FERMI problems? You're not allowed to look anything up, and you're supposed to somehow figure out how many times you'd have to run up the stairs of the Tower to work off a donut. I don't know how tall the Tower is, how much energy I burn going up stairs, how much energy is in a donut, or any of a host of things needed to solve this problem! There are no numbers, and no formulas! Today he was talking about how light always takes the fastest path between two points, and he was using calculus, but he was coming at it in such a roundabout way it was utterly confusing, even though I understand the principle! I hate it when, even in class, I'm struggling to follow the example. That's a sure sign I'll have trouble with the homework!

I'm glad you approve of my choices in academics and computers!

Love you, darling. Feel free to reciprocate and tell me what's going on with this major decision! I like to stalk my darling Kase-ness too!

By the way, my new computer has a webcam. I don't have a microphone, but I understand they're not enormously difficult to come by. Perhaps now I will be able to join you on Skype!

Oops. I guess I had responded and forgotten? I am not sure what in particular you wanted to discuss with me - next time we talk, perhaps. All my love and good luck with your decision-making.
