Why.. why is there a huge hole in town? Am I being too optimistic to hope that someone's been trying to expand the well? Maybe there was a fluke in some excavating I didn't hear?

Well, it's either that the town is gonna start falling apart, or somebody had a grudge against the well!

The safe bet is the first. There wasn't anyone around it when I was passing by, and I haven't heard anyone else spot any suspects.

If the town falls in, there's not much we can do. We can go into the woods but logic says there's a fairly large chance that will fall in as well. For now, we'll just have to find out what we can.

Who knows, they might've been dragged into it or something! This place is weird!

I don't think it's gonna happen though. If the town falls in, we die. I don't think the Malnosso would kill us all at once. It'd take to much effort to bring us all back!

Who would act out revenge on a well? It doesn't make any sense.

Well, something is happening and it isn't good. Even if that's not the true situation we're dealing with here, we've still got plenty of possibilities and I'm guessing none of them positive. Also, don't rule out the chance that they might be disposing of the town and us with it. They aren't predictable, and neither is their interest in us. I'm not saying that's the case here, but I wouldn't immediately rule it out.

Maybe they dropped something in it, and couldn't get it back out?

If they wanted to get rid of us, we'd be sent home more likely than just disappearing with this world! And if it gets any worse, I'll check it out myself!

I don't think blowing up the well, and by doing so, what they dropped, would make it be any more sensible. Someone would have heard it, anyway.

I'm not ruling it out, though. They're pretty cruel, from what I've gathered. Be careful, if you do. You never know what could be there.

I don't think anything too bad could be down there! Probably just way too much water.
