Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
5'9", 136lbs. Healthy bordering on underweight, with very very lightly defined muscles. He very much has a 'dancer' or a 'runner' build.
2. How old is he?
28
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He keeps his back straight, his shoulders back, and his nose straight in the air
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's physically healthy, if a little underweight.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He's very elegant and graceful with his movements, planning them with care. There are times, however, when he because distracted with thought that he'll stumble over his feet or an obstacle in the path.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's very classically attractive; High cheek bones, sharp features, very regal and noble in the older Victorian or even Roman senses. He finds himself absolutely handsome, though no where near the beauty and poise of his sister.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
His skin is extremely pale, almost unnaturally so, and his complexion is nigh-immaculate except for the tired circles under his eyes.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
His hair is actually longer than it seems; It's about 5 or 6 inches but it's kept slicked back meticulously. If it wasn't slicked back, it would fall just above his eyes. Yes, he has bangs, and if he didn't think it looked ridiculous he could do his hair like he had it when he was 12, if a little shorter.
It's very soft, and a shiny golden blond.
9. What color are his eyes?
Grey-blue, though more on the blue side.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He has two scars on his chest, one on his upper right from being shot in Antarctica and one over his heart from the 21 Sacraments ordeal.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Head and neck
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
His wardrobe is extremely formal, with a high preference to dress shirts, dress pants, uniforms, etc. It's composed mostly of neutrals, with a few cool pastels and reds and golds.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
His clothes fit perfectly, and they add a heightened air of authority to him. He moves pretty easily even in his uniform so I'd assume he's comfortable in them.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
It depends on the occasion. If he's staying inside and doesn't plan to go out or be seen, he'll wear a dress shirt and pants and little else. If he's going out, depending on the company he'll wear a vest suit or his full uniform.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Briefs or boxerbriefs.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Depending on his mood it has a variety of ranges. It rests normally at a very smooth medium-high pitch but quickly becomes cracked and higher (and even shrill) when he becomes excited. When upset or whispering, it lowers just slightly and he has a slight growl to his voice.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Without any influencing factors on his mood, he speaks proudly, loudly, and evenly. His words are carefully weighted and thought through, with emphasis on certain words or syllables.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He has a very posh English accent. One could assume his pronunciation of his name ("AL • furd" instead of "AL-frəd") is a pronunciation quirk
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English, native; Spanish, highly fluent; French, highly fluent; German, highly fluent; Italian, some fluency; Latin, basic phrasing
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Not unless there's a phrase that works better in a different language (c'est la vie for example)
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's more than decent at impromptu speaking, but as with anything time and preparation makes it better.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He's extremely eloquent, but under periods of high stress (or accusations from Alexia) he's prone to losing his train of thought and becoming flustered.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He has very high intelligence, but very low self-esteem about it due to not being good enough to be a genius like his sister. He's very much book smart, and common day-to-day situations throw him off.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He's definitely good at thinking on his feet, but like the speaking it's never bad to stew on something. His plans would go from "good" to "great" if he's given enough (but not too much) time to sit on them.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Definitely logical and practical. He's much more idealistic and intuitive than his sister, but that isn't saying much. He thinks things through coldly and clinically, and has his own form of 'logic' running behind it the entire time.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Full college education. He was privately tutored by the best Umbrella could get to Antarctica until he was college age, where he seriously studied military sciences and even pursued a little microbiology. Just to make Alexia proud.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Military, military, military. He's keenly interested in everything military, and has almost centred his life around it. In all honesty? He'd like to learn more about virology if only so he could help Alexia more.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
He's a definite introvert, but he has some extroverted tendencies. He's not likely to go out on the town with friends (what friends) on a whim, but he's not shy about introducing himself and peacocking his greatness.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He can have some serious mood swings. He can go from gloating to offended rage in a single statement. He's very driven, and I'd say his more apathetic or neutral than melancholy or cheerful.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Very suspicious. He's innately paranoid and doesn't trust anyone.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
... Yes? He'll fight so long as it's distanced and he has the upper hand. If someone starts to bring the fight to him? He's going to get out of there.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He has a very... Dark sense of humour. He'll laugh at any of Alexia's jokes, though.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Yes, and he deals with it by ignoring anything ever happened because Alexia is here now and that means everything's fine. Basically very unhealthily.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Finding out he and Alexia were experiments, Alexia leaving for 15 years, the incident at Rockfort Island and Antarctica, and his stay at World's End.
14. What does he fear?
Losing Alexia again.
And heights.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
To lift Alexia up to Queen of the world and serve at her side
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
His relationship with his sister, his mental breakdown, and the fact that he was an experiment
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Non-existent. His mother was genetically his family's long dead matriarch and physically an unknown surrogate. His father emotionally abused and neglected him as he was convinced he was a failure and more interested in the success of his sister. He loathed his father for this, and the knowledge that he was a failed experiment
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
His beloved twin sister, Alexia. Their relationship is... Complicated. And illegal. He's always looked up to her as an idol; Despite the fact that he was always shadowed by her greatness he felt blessed to have her as his sister. This love, when it should have been jealousy, was fostered by the fact that Alexia was really the only one who ever really cared for him. Surrounded by a cold world of his neglectful father, uncaring servants (who were more afraid than anything else), her attention was a godsend and really the only thing keeping him from snapping.
As he matured (and they reunited in World's End), he began to really realise the full extent of his feelings for her. He not only loved her, he was in love with her. As always, he worshipped the ground she walked upon, and he bowed to her feet, but he wished to be closer. Always closer. The thought of making his beloved Queen impure disgusted him, especially as he thought it would never happen. Except it did. And they're in a relationship. Sister, lover, Alfred treats her like a Goddess.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
His family is just his father and his sister.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Clackers. Only because Alexia likes the lobster so much. :>
(he also vaguely sort of kind of treats Dawn and Willow as adoptive sisters, but he doesn't consider them anything of the sort.)
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
First and foremost? Alexia.
Outside of her? Willow or Dawn. He met Willow over the network in World's End and found her significantly less annoying than the other residents and just... Couldn't get rid of her anyway. He found Dawn over the network almost get eaten by wolves, to which he laughed like an asshole. Dawn's derp decided that he was still an ok guy, and he can't get rid of her either.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Not really. Closer acquaintances, maybe. He respects Lucifer, and he got onto fairly good terms with Alex Shepherd, but his circle of 'friends' is very limited.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
alfred doesn't make friends. friends make alfred. by mistake. 8|
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He can't legally marry the woman he's in a relationship in. (He's in a relationship, and he's never been married)
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Alexia. Alexia.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Alexia
Intelligence, nobility, cunning, beauty datass; Alexia. Just. Alexia.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
No, god no.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
The Redfields. Steve. Also Birkin, if he'd remember who he is.
Possibly Wesker. He just doesn't like the cut of his jib.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the
Kinsey scale?
Honestly? X.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He could live without it. He enjoys it, certainly, but it's not a necessity. He'd be just as happy never having it again as long as Alexia was happy. He's very good at suppressing any desire he does get, as well.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
His biggest turn on is by far pleasuring Alexia. His second is definitely sadomasochism. Seeing others in pain and being hurt (by Alexia, as she deems fit) stirs him a lot. He enjoys domination and shaming.
His turn offs are harder to pin, but he doesn't like any bathroom or voyeuristic/exhibitionist stuff. Bloodplay would have worried him before he was infected himself.
He giggles a lot when he's about to get off, and he is definitely a snuggler. :x
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (
zodiac of
choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
Putting his birthday around May 21st, 1971:
Taurus: Dependable - Persistent - Loyal - Patient - Generous
Stubborn - Laziness - Possessive - Materialistic - Self-indulging
CHECK Yin Metal Boar: bossy, lively, extroverted, motivated by fortitude and patience and is full of pride.
CHECK 2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither. He's very clinical and scientific and views those who believe in spirits or gods as inferior simpletons.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Yes, and it's very hard to explain. The only thing that could really shake it is Alexia, though... Being alone in a world that isn't his where his methods didn't work did quite a bit to shake those foundations.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Indifferent. If it's scientific, he may accept it if he can understand it and it makes sense. If it's religious? He'll view them as simpletons who grasp at invisible figures and will perish when they are faced with their true Queen (it's Alexia)
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He hates commoners. It's pretty irrational, in that the only basis for it is holier-than-thou gloating.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Rich, though currently (in Bell Pointe), he's comfortable as he... Has an unlimited credit card. Just like everyone else!
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Noble. He's realistically on the same peg as everyone else now, but you could never convince him that he's anything less than noble.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He used to live in a magnificent mansion until REDIFELDS. In Bell Pointe, he lives with his sister (and Dawn) in a fairly normal 2 story suburban house. He treats it as his sanctuary, hallowed grounds where he and Alexia can retreat from the rest of the world.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Wines and champagnes and gifts for Alexia, really. Probably high class foodstuffs when he can get it.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He used to run Rockfort Island, which he enjoyed. It was a position of power and he was allowed to kill any dissenters. Win/win in his eyes. Now, he doesn't have any official job, but he dotes on his sister endlessly. He cooks and cleans for her, making sure everything is immaculate and perfect for her. He's basically her unofficial maid.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Torture, target practice, collection military paraphernalia, German weaponry... He can't do that in Bell Pointe however so he satisfies himself with playing games with Alexia and laughing at how everyone scrambles about at the smallest incident. Also, he likes to troll people.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He used to eat sparingly, and would skip meals a lot due to his psychosis. Once he got to World's End, saner and without consistent access to food, he began to eat more often (though still small portions) Now that he's infected, he's found his metabolism's kick started and he eats a more filling meals a lot more regularly.
