Beoweasel's Journal, March 20, 198-Okay, I'll stop that, I'm not Rorschach.

Anyway, back in January, the girl who invited me to move to Maine and live with her and her boyfriend, broke up with said boyfriend and moved out later that month, leaving just I, our new roommate, Doug (who also had been invited to move to Maine, from Kansas.) and couch-mate, a former co-worker who sleeps on my couch.

Fast forward to March, and new roommate Doug, has decided he's not happy here in Maine, and is moving back to Kansas in April. Thus, my tiny social circle has shrunk from two to just one, that being my best-friend, James (the boyfriend of the girl who invited me.). There's really nothing for us in this state, neither he, nor I go to the local schools here, nor is there really any nerdy-type hang outs for us to lurk at (They don't even have a good comic shop. :/). We're both just here because of Elizabeth, but now that's she gone...we have no connection to the state.

So, at the moment, James and I a formulating a plan of what to do, the obvious one is for me to just pack my bags and go back to South Carolina, but while that puts me back with my family, who I care about, it does nothing for my social life, and I really don't like my home state. However, James has said that his old friends from New York, have moved to Cape Cod in Massachusetts, and believes we should move down there and be amongst them.

It seems like a good plan, in my opinion, and the weather there is supposedly more mild than the nasty shit I've seen in Biddeford.

So, does anybody care to share their thoughts on Massachusetts? Anybody familiar with the Cape Cod area?
