Some people really, really amaze me sometimes. I mean...were you looking for instant gratification? An ego boost at the expense of another? Did you really think I wouldn't notice you distancing and (steadily) removing yourself? I may come across as quiet and perhaps oblivious, but I'm a lot brighter and keen than some believe.
Ugh. I don't even know why I wasted my time and effort trying to get to know you better and become your friend. If you weren't interested in my friendship, then just straight up tell me!
