Health insurance / vision coverage / all of that crap is really, really expensive. I never realized how much I appreciated my parents taking care of that stuff until I've had to start paying for it myself. And being that vision isn't covered at all with our benefits plan at work (isn't that fantastic?!), I'm having to pay a lot of this crap out ( Read more... )

Hmmm, if my family doesn't decide to go to the coast on Monday, I wouldn't be adverse to coming down. Also, tomorrow at 4:40, Mary, Monica & I are going to go see Howl's Moving Castle at the Avalon. If you wanted to join us, I have no problem swinging down to Eugene to pick you up and then driving you back after said movie (and possibly dinner?) *hugs*

Also, sexy glasses = yay! I can't wait to see them. Now you, Katie & I can all wear our sexy glasses together all the time and we'll just be ridiculously hot. :P

See Ben? I'd love to see Ben. I don't really want to drive but if someone else wanted to I'd be willing to be a passenger and chip in for some gas money (cause I just got what will be my biggest pay check today).

I could have told you that uninsured (or uncovered) doctor visiting was expensive. It cost me nearly $400 to go to the girly doctor during my visit home. Ouch.

I told my parents that you'd asked for suggestions on how to look less disgusting on the air and their response was, "he looks good. He doesn't always sound good, but he's getting more confident as he goes. But he doesn't look bad. He looks good."
