Time Flies........
It has been a great 3 months in Japan. School's going great. My spoken Japanese is getting better by the bit although there is still a great distinctions between my spoken Japanese and my written Japanese. I will be trying to post stuffs in Japanese more to keep up with my written Japanese. The only thing which sucks is the rising Japanese Yen which is causing alot of worries in me. Who to blame for this situation? Honestly I wouldn't know but I guess I will have to point my fingers at the sub prime problems with USA at the moment. I have till May to hope for a weakened Yen so as to send money from Singapore.
Sucky point #2, I didn't bring my Digital Camera so I have to take all pictures mostly with my Mobile Phone.
Sucky point #3. I have been here for only 3 months and now I fucking have to move house again as the school's moving too. I have never had such experience. Never had it while I was in Melbourne.
Good point is, I have met up with many people I wanna meet in the past. People who were my best friends in FFXi and my old classmates in Melbourne. Been meeting up with Ryuda, Miki and Konno's party alot. On the other hand, I have to thank Masanori and Akemi (husband and wife) for helping me to settle in Chiba. Masanori will be lending his experience to James's and Xiang Yu's Comic Journey in Japan as well. Konno is keen to do business with me in the near future. I am at the moment exploring the Clothing agent business to do with my sis and my housemate but it will be good if Konno comes into the picture. I can't say more for now.
As I am very grateful to the school in helping my livelihood in Chiba, I have also extended some of my past experience in my Thesis and work as a Product Engineer to help the school in recruiting students from developed countries, e.g Singapore Taiwan Australia USA etc.
Life in Japan isn't that super expensive as compared to what most Singaporeans say. I will say it is comparable to the current Melbourne or even the Melbourne 4 years ago. Don't argue with me about this point coz I stayed in Melbourne for 6 years. Taking up the step to come Japan to study basically opens up another door and skill for anyone I feel. Because it will be a non english environment. Good change in my honest opinion. New culture. Why so? We have all gotta admit that people who uses English as their first language have more similarities in culture than Japanese which is totally alienation.
Made a new friend in school too who is non China nor India. He is from Taiwan and plays in Bismarck for FF and now I am in fact bunking in his place after late night supper, writing this blog. I think by coming here, I have learn alot more about Japanese culture as well as the language. The frustration in understanding Japanese as a culture and their race is sometimes to the extend of trying to bang myself against the fucken wall. But given my luck and fortune, and my willingness to open my eyes and heart to learn, it is easy. I have been overseas for touring, studies etc from most part of my life which makes me very different in thinking to normal Singaporeans.
Milan and Will are gonna come visit me in June. I get to party with those mad cunts for a while. Really looking forward to them. Milan and Will are both my Counter-strike teammates in the past where I have won alot of money and trophies with them. I miss them alot too along with Nick and Tony and Troung as well. Gonna bring them to Womb for party.
Promised to buy Debbie a Mikimoto necklace but ended up buying a limited edition Square Enix silver necklace for almost the same price. Well when her birthday comes, I will go get that Mikimoto one which she likes.
As for FFXi, ever since I came to Japan, I haven't login as much. No longer can I be on 24/7 without logging off due to electric bills etc. Since coming to Japan, I have done like 2 Nidhoggs, 1 King Behemoth, 1 Aspidochelone and 11 Fafnirs I believed. The optic fiber connection here has helped me to win pulls against some fucken botters in Ragnarok. Also had a few bust ups in Juventus. At the moment I am considering certain things. Switching server to Bismarck to play with my classmates, quitting, joining AbsoluteVirtual or Tactics coz alot of friends there. I missed being in a Gaijin linkshell coz I haven't been in one for like 3 years? Staying in Juventus is also an option. I have put in alot of effort and getting only a decent return. But that isn't the reason why I am pondering. Reason being I hate my late night efforts etc being wasted. At the moment, I am just trying to enjoy more of my time touring and meeting Japanese friends and improving my spoken Japanese. FFXi is just there to play when I don't have much cash to go out roaming.

I had a good friend who I met in Kyoto 2 years ago. He finally retired from the game coz he finally got himself a child. Omedetou Uld san!! I had this picture taken in FF to remember him as he was my 5 year friend in FF.
