Greetings Everyone!
I don't really like Live Journals. But somehow I got lured into starting one. How did that happen?
Anyway. I am not sure what to talk about yet. Why do people want to read my thoughts? Maybe you should leave a comment to tell me why. Hint hint.
If you are reading this, I probably know who you are. Or should know who you are or encountered you in my life. Because if you are being a weirdo and reading this and I never talk to you...leave. Hah!
Last night, Zach and I went to the Orlando Airport Marriott to use our free certificate that we obtained from our Hospitality Management professor-the awesome Peter Ricci. Anyhow, the certificate said that the bearer was entitled to a complementary dinner for two including tax and gratuity. When were arrived, we did not know what this included, so we asked the waitress. Here is a short dialog of how that conversation went:
Zach: Hi. We have this coupon for a free dinner for two and we were wondering what that includes. Does it include appetizers and things like that?
Waitress Lindsay: Yes. That coupon includes whatever you want on the menu. You can order three appetizers, desserts, anything-it's all covered.
Zach: Really?! Wow!! (Eyes pop out of head and tongue drops to floor, salivating)
I know. Drastic. It was really a sight to behold. Scary too. When we looked at the menu, we were very surprised at the prices. They were expensive. To make a long dinner short, we ended up ordering the following:
Two Pops (POP not Soda, sorry)
Spring Roll Appetizer
Crab Cake Appetizer
Parmesan Crusted Sea bass (Zach)
12 oz. New York Strip + Baked Potato (Me)
Two Strawberry Daiquiris(without alcohol, of course)
Chocolate Cake (Ben)
Apple Pie a la Mode (Zach)
In all we think we had a bill of around $100.00. The waitress said to order as much as we could so she could get a large tip. So, we did. And we ate it all. We definitely left satisfied and full-I had to hunch over I ate so much. Thank you Marriott and Ricci for a nice dinner at a nice place. The only sad part is that now I have to try to erase those horrific images of Zach from my memory.
I just learned that my apartment has been cleaned up from the large amount of mold that has formed from wetness from Hurricane Jeanne. I finally wrote a very lengthy letter to the complex to tell them of the numerous problems. Thankfully they have cleaned it up and actually fixed it this time. Hopefully I won't be sick any longer from those things.
On a final note, I have decided that people are too judgmental. Particularly people that don't know you. There are a few people that I know that I extremely rarely speak to (I'm talking like once in a blue moon-ya know?) and they claim to know a wealth of information about me. Particularly a person named Sarah. She is a bitch. Anyhow, I hope she is reading this, because that will confirm that she does indeed have a spot in hell. And for the others that like to say things, spread rumors, and be judgmental...you should really stop, because it really does affect alot of other people. I don't know who people talk to, or what they talk about...but pretty much some people are total and complete idiots.
Anyways. Enough ranting for now. I need to go take a lunch break, since I did write this entry at work. I mean there really is not anything to do. But you know what? I think you need to comment. I'm serious.
