I've lost my first kilo (ca. 2 lbs). I've been taking this whole workout thing seriously for about 2 weeks now and given that I haven't really changed my diet (I'm still having cake every once in a while and I'm still eating carbs - though I try to eat less fat and more fruit), I'd say this isn't too bad. I could probably get faster result if I ( Read more... )

I lost about 20 pounds by sticking to vegetable soup and a slice of garlic bread for dinner. It's utterly boring but it helps. I also reduced my snack portions about a quarter.

Where are you getting the tattoo?

I'm trying to decrease the amount of carbs I eat. In the summer this should be doable. And I'll have to start weighing portions because especially with pasta, I tend to go overboard. (I loooooooooooooove pasta.)

I'm getting a flower onto the foot. :D

But that's good progress, I think. I cut back on my food intake and cut out snacking between meals and lost about 6 pounds in two weeks. I'm gonna add in more exercise and maybe a treat for me here and there. I'm just teying to find something that WORKS.

Awww that's so awesome of Wendy!

It's okay progress. I could have better results probably if I were more strict with my diet, but I don't want to change too drastically right away. (Go you though for losing those 6 pounds! Seriously, try that yoga workout. It's fun!)

Isn't it? She's the best!

I so badly need to lose weight but I don't know how. It's hard to change my diet because sad as it is, I don't get a lunchbreak at work, So I eat too much small-ish meals in between and then dinner. I'm also not really the sporty type--I know I should work out, but I've NEVER been good at sports, not even when I did rowing and trained four times a week. I have so much stuff to do going somewhere else is too time-consuming, and I hate jogging. Boo. But go you! That's awesome!

Ah, I see how that is tough.

Do you bring your own lunch? Maybe you could try that and only bring as much as you should be eating if you had a lunch break. Maybe even break it down into smallish portions so that it'll last you throughout the day and once it's gone, it's gone.

As for the sports, did you consider doing something at home? That's how I work out. I hate jogging (tried it several times and it's just not for me). I hate gyms too. But working at home works for me. I downloaded several workouts of various lengths (and also for various fitness levels) and depending on how much time and energy I have for that day, I can chose. I know that it's hard when you're busy but I believe that one has always 30 minutes a day.
