stain removal guide

so i'm a klutz and am always getting stains on my clothes. so here's my own stain removal guide of stain removals that have worked - at least pretty well. nothing is gauranteed. i'll keep adding to them as i remember / find new ones.

-bicycle grease (current): apply dishwashing soap to stain and let sit. then launder.

-butter & oil stains: apply goop. sit for 2 hours. rub in a bit of laundry detergent. launder. don't overdo it on goop and don't let sit for excessive amounts of time.

-lotion - rub with terry cloth towel. should get most of it out.

-ink stains (especially ballpoint) - boiling water - pour over several times and then launder.

-fruit stains (except grape) - same as ink.

-chocolate - same as butter & oil stains.

-coffee - little bit of vinegar with water. i think cold water.

- tomato based products - soak with cold water for a couple of hours. then rub in dishwashing soap or laundry soap and wash.

-grape juice - cold water.
