Writer's Block: POWER

Mar 12, 2008 01:01

Having control tends to make a person feel powerful. If I am able to have complete control over a situation that I've invested myself, I will be content and I'll feel powerful. Control is not my only source of power; I have a lot of inner strength that feeds my ability to function and effects the amount of power that I posess. The power that I have influences what I do and how my personality forms. I don't believe that anybody's personality is "set." I believe that one's personality is free to change at any given time. You have to allow these changes to happen as they present themselves. You can't hold anything back; by holding back, you take away a lot of your own power. If you want to be powerful, just be yourself and follow your instincts. Happiness also has a lot to do with power. The happier you become, the more power you posess. Don't let anybody take control from you, be yourself, find happiness, but most importantly, be powerful. Power creates success. Whether you choose to believe that or not, I suggest you try.
