Long lost memories?

Whatever happend to the days when everybody from Meijer formed one big group and we hung out for the purpose of having fun. we accepted new people into it constantly making us all equals. That was it... plain and simple. Sure, we joked around and there may have even been certain alliances among us, but nothing like today. I can't begin to tell you how sick it makes me see to see us treating eachother like sh*t or competing for who has the "better" life when we once all stood in the same room and all shared the same common goals. I know that it was necessary for us to split for many reasons such as college or new jobs, but I was hoping the group wouldn't die just like that. I'm starting to wish it had - maybe this huge display of immaturity could have been prevented. I'm not here to put anyone down. I just want to remind you of all the things you are missing.

Meijer is not great in itself, but that's why we were what we were. We even had our fair share of battles against it. Who honestly didn't have fun when we got together to plan what we were going to demand at the meeting to get our rights to push carts in peace back, when we went on huge day-long weeding projects, played Halo for hours at eachother's homes, went to the haunted house, worked on eachother's cars untill 11:00 PM, or hung out every single Friday. That was a day I always looked forward to. Oh sure we seem to get togther still... online. Here it usually consists of name calling and pointless comments involving some rather weak displays of confidance from those of us who think we are "past" eacthother.

If you truly don't know where I am coming from here then what I said is true - and what we had will forever be lost. If you miss it in the same way that I do and wish to do something about it, I'd like to be the first to know. Thank you once again to those of you who I know are already on the same page.
