I think I may have a case of hypothermia. It was so incredibly cold last night. This "heater", and I use the term very loosely, in our room barely spit out any warmth. New Zealand, for the longest time, didn't require homes, and evidently hotels, to have insulation. This is now the second hotel where I've woken up freezing. I'm not looking forward to getting out of the shower.
Today, is our last night on the South Island. We'll be seeing a petrified forest at Curio Bay, some wonderful waterfalls and the lovely city of Dunedin. Hopefully, I can find a sweatshirt! I came to New Zealand with one sweatshirt, one long-sleeve shirt and one sweater. I thought I'd definitely buy something along the way. But, I've never found anything I like. It's a good thing we had access to washers along the way. The bad thing is you see me wearing the same things in all photos. Oh well. There are worst fates. It's not like I'm even going to need a sweater until October at the earliest once I leave.
