Interning can be FUN!

So, here's tonight's bril gem from my intern work at DrMaster:

"You're a pretty good shot for a pacifist," Louis said.
"I forgot to say before. I'm a pacifist, but I'm also an 'eye-for-an-eye'-ist and a perfect shot."-- JUNK FORCE: THE NOVEL, v.2, Hideki Kakinuma ( Read more... )

I found you in the indietits feed. I started reading your journal. Your icon is great.
That would be so much better as a haiku!

The icon, your words,
The comic and your retorts.
I think I love you!

You should read some of my REAL writing.
Y'know.
If you feel like not stalking me some more...

Now I'll have to write more. Damn it.
And I will definitely not stalk you back or anything.

Never.

Ever.

I wrote haiku's for you last night, sitting in my car in the rain outside a bar where I'd just missed my friend Rachael playing violin for a band.

By "wrote" I mean "made up on the spot and posted as stuttery phone posts because I think I was forgetting the words."

wasn't Atticus Finch (of To Kill a Mockingbird) also a crack shot pacifist?

probably; but Gregory Peck was pretty hot in a morally upright kinda way...

If there weren't a ring on my finger, I'd totally do Gregory Peck. Or rather, it would be ZOMBIE GREGORY PECK!

I found you on chambana... I, too, enjoy your entries (and your icon). I laughed out loud (at work) at your retelling of the Devil Pot story. from the sounds of it, that house is not far off from many of the chambana rentals I've lived in over the years. That Herschel landlord sounds eerily similar to one I had years ago, Gerald Marshall.

Anyhow, I notice you are into manga and stuff. I'm a japanese language student in my spare time. Do you speak/read/write any nihongo? Just curious.

Hope you don't mind if I add you, as I would enjoy reading the occasional benchiladaism on my friends page... Feel free to reciprocate, not that my journal is anything interesting. More interesting is perhaps my music:

http://www.psr47.com (but torrents are down, but loads of free ambient/spacey/drone mp3s)

One of my friends sent me that site once, but it vanished into the ether when my hard drive died and I was unable to recover my favorites...love the music.

Don't speak Japanese yet, but will likely be taking classes in it this Fall. :D

Big fan of S.E. Asian culture in general...
And I'm glad you enjoyed the Devil Pot story (which was nonfiction)...hopefully there'll be more fiction soon...
