Reading this I am reminded of something I did in my movement class (Which is a class I think you would quite enjoy).
Stand against the wall, with bare feet extended in front of you in such a way that it looks as if you are sitting against the wall. Don't get too extreme about it, knees only need to be a little bent. Roll down starting from the top of your head and going one vertabrae at a time, feel free to go quickly. When you roll back up see how much of your back you can get touching the wall. When back in your original posistion push yourselp off of the wall not using your hands but pushing out with your pelvis and rolling off with your spine so the last thing touching the wall is your head. When standing, let your body rock until it finds the point when your weight is equally distributed between the heels and the balls of your feet. After you find it, wait to the point where you can not stand still anymore and start walking. If you keep your posture and weight distributed it's an entirly new sensation and wakes you up a little really. I do it every day at least two or three times.
Sorry, that was LONG! But I thought you might be interested. Take care.
