Discovery:

Smiling hightens your senses.

While out walking one day, I was focusing on keeping my eyes level and face relaxed, along with breathing 3 part breaths. Just trying to see clearer as I walked. Then, happy about seeing clearer, when I smiled, making sure not to use any other muscles in my face but the corners of my mouth to stretch up towards my ears. Now first off, my sight went to a new dimension of clarity. And the more I saw, the more I smiled, the clearer and better everything was. Then I noticed I could hear better, and even feel better. I could sense my innards.

It was a very nice experience. The funny thing is that I'm still teetering between living like that and living like I used to live, which takes away from the nice living. I'll still feel like having a cigarette which hurts my lungs, or smoking a bowl which makes things cloudy, or even buying something stupid like pizza. But every day I feel less and less of the desire to do so, which is nice :)
